The Fish Fry, Oistins
Oistins, Barbados, is widely known for its Friday night “Fish Fry”, where fishermen and vendors grill freshly caught fish and Bajan dishes. Less visible is the working market to which the event is attached; a space of labour and daily interaction for fishermen, market workers, and residents of Christ Church Parish. This edit follows the shift from day to night, market to event, exploring how community threads through both.
